Butter Battles ending

With the Yooks and the Zooks about ready to fall they realized they weren't so different at all.
We Yooks don't like your Zook toast with butter on the bottom.
Zooks can butter toast in so many ways you haven't even thought of.
It doesn't matter what side the butter is on, as long as Yook kids and Zook kids can get along.
The Zook bomb didn't work anyway, I'd rather get along with my Yook neighbors any day!

Is bombing justifiable?

In the right state of mind bombing will never be justifiable, but when a country is at war it is all they can do to win. During world war 2 when America was at war with japan, America bombed two major japanese cities killing millions and damaging future generations with the effects of radiation. However it is not justifiable to go around killing millions for the sole purpose to rid the earth of them. I believe that bombing a country to protect your own citizens is a justifiable act. I also believe that bombing or killing citizens because you don't like them, and not even to win the war is not a justifiable act.

The Maine is on Spain!

There has been a tragedy in the past 24 hours that has greatly affected the American people; many American soilders are dead due to the spanish savages! The Uss Maine was placed in the Havana harbor, 254 seamen were dead due to the Spanish! The spanish savages blew up our ship and dared to blame the explosion on the mistakes of the United States! Blastphemy! The president has begun to secretly debate declaring war on Spain, but is waiting for something to push the envelope even further before declaring war. (comtinued on page 4)
